JUST OFF THE EASEL

Rexi is a happy dog!

 

I usually like to do black and white dogs in charcoal, but oh! That fabulous blue eye! That had to be done in oil.

A repeat patron is the nicest compliment! My client liked her portrait of "Sassy" so much that she commissioned a portrait of her daughter's dog as a gift. Wisely, she let her daughter in on the surprise so that she could pick a favorite photo and background color, and she could also enjoy seeing progress photos.
